Armstrong recently announced that it will provide its Cloud-based subscription service, Pump Manager, free to new customers until 1 August, to help facilitate remote HVAC management while social distancing measures are in place.
Pump Manager is a secure, web-based remote asset management and analytic service that tracks pump performance from any location using a phone, tablet or laptop. It provides real-time alerts, warnings and analysis across multiple platforms. It alerts maintenance engineers and/or service technicians to problems, allowing them to arrive on site with the appropriate tools or parts.
Existing Design Envelope pump customers can request an Armstrong Connectivity Kit (Router and GCM SIM card) and installation instructions. Pump Manager can be activated on new pumps and is free with the purchase of an extended warranty.
Tunji Asiwaju, Global Performance Management Services with Armstrong, said: “While we are practising social distancing to protect ourselves and those around us, we still have to ensure that our buildings operate as effectively as possible. Our goal is to help building managers and maintenance professionals practise safe social distancing and reduce their operating costs.”
