The new headquarters comprises five floors with 1,300 employees. The open work environment reflects the hybrid work approach implemented at Baker Hughes to encourage collaboration.
The move has consolidated several corporate offices across Houston into one location to support Baker Hughes’ financial and sustainability goals.
“The opening of our new Houston headquarters is an important moment in our strategic transformation as we continue to take energy forward,” said Baker Hughes chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli. “Collaboration will be key to solving for the energy transition. We look forward to collaborating with our colleagues, partners, customers and new neighbors in the Energy Corridor to solve the Energy Trilemma.”
The location will also host the company's asset condition monitoring, diagnostics and reliability North America customer training center along and its gas technology remote monitoring and diagnostics services center.
The Energy Corridor is a centrally located business hub that is home to some of the world’s largest energy companies as well as medium and small startup, tech and engineering firms.
