Hannover Messe 2020 takes place from 20-24 April and its lead theme for 2020 is industrial transformation including topics such as Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, 5G and smart logistics.
The focal point of the show’s industrial transformation message is the Digital Ecosystems showcase covering the full range of software for every link in the industrial value chain. The display is strategically located at the heart of the venue in Halls 14-17 and is linked thematically with neighbouring halls.
Hubertus von Monschaw, global director, Digital Ecosystems at Deutsche Messe, said: “In the current age of Industry 4.0, the focus is on flexible manufacturing, standalone yet integrated machines and systems, and autonomous exchanges of process information. And the key to it all is the software that maps and manages these processes. At Hannover Messe, all theme areas relevant to this will be clustered in the Digital Ecosystems display.”
The display categories are “Future Hub”, “Automation, Motion & Drives”, “Digital Ecosystems”, “Energy Solutions”, “Logistics”, and “Engineered Parts & Solutions”. The programme will be rounded off by more than 80 conferences and forums.
