Interpump Group has acquired 100% of Ricci Engineering Srl, a start-up company based in Orvieto, Italy, which designs, builds and installs plants for breweries and winemakers.
The company, which mainly operates in the micro-brewery plant business, has annual sales of around €2 million, with an expected 2018 EBITDA of around 10%. The total price paid was €0.6 million, including an expected financial position of €150 000 in net cash.
Founder Mauro Ricci will remain with the business under Interpump Group ownership.
Interpump says that the transaction is part of a micro-acquisition program which is in addition to the company’s larger M&A deals.
