Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of CH Spencer & Company Co, a US business focused on the distribution and service of industrial pumps, compressors and related systems for mining, municipal water treatment and general industry applications.
Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, CH Spencer also operates in the US states of Nevada, Wyoming and Idaho.
“Acquiring CH Spencer with its great team, reliable service network and access to high-quality products allows us to further increase productivity for customers in the region,” said Vagner Rego, president of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
About 40 CH Spencer employees will now join Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
