PumpMan Holdings LLC has bought Bartley Pump, a Northern California-based pump service and repair company, and WC Weil, a Pennsylvanian pump equipment and systems service provider for municipal water and waste water treatment systems.
Bartley Pump
Located in Santa Rosa, California, Bartley Pump designs, sells services, and repairs well pumps, motors, pressure tanks, filters, valves and controls. The company specializes in submersible, centrifugal, jet, booster, turbine, sump, septic and grinder pumps and systems for residential, commercial, municipal, and agricultural uses. Located close to the wine grape counties of Sonoma and Napa, Bartley Pump also provides drip irrigation and frost protection systems for vineyards.
“With the acquisition of Bartley Pump, we expand our expertise to include agricultural pump system service and repair,” said Donald Devine, president and CEO of PumpMan Holdings. “With Northern California’s complex landscape and topography, Bartley Pump brings the unique knowledge base needed to service the intricate systems of the region. With this acquisition, PumpMan now serves both Northern and Southern California, making this an important step in growing PumpMan into a national brand.”
As part of PumpMan Holdings, the business will continue to operate under the Bartley Pump brand. Don Kaminski, the president and owner of Bartley Pump, will remain with the company.
WC Weil
Meanwhile PumpMan Holdings has also acquired Allison Park, Pennsylvania-based WC Weil, the pump equipment and systems service provider for municipal water and waste water treatment systems.
“WC Weil’s market knowledge and expertise positions the company as a trusted partner and resource for municipalities throughout the Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Western Maryland region,” said Devine. “WC Weil is an important piece in creating a national pump system service and repair company for the industrial, commercial, and municipal water segments. Through this acquisition, we can provide the resources required to accelerate the growth of the WC Weil Company and provide enhanced value to our customers.”
The company will continue to operate under the WC Weil brand. WC Weil owner Greg Madia will remain with the company under PumpMan, serving as president of the Sales Division. In this role, Madia will work closely with customers to identify and resolve critical issues.
Earlier this year, PumpMan Holdings completed the acquisition of Alyan Pump LLC, a provider of specialty packaged pump systems and submersible sump and sewage packages.
